ABOUT Christy:

Pre-licensed LADC + LPCC

With her master’s in Counseling Psychology for Co-occurring Disorders and undergraduate in
Psychology, Christy has had the opportunity to assist individuals with their journey in inpatient,
intensive outpatient, psychiatric and outpatient clinic settings.

Taking careful consideration of one’s individual beliefs, Christy employs a Humanistic and biopsychosocial approach to work in tandem with her client’s comfort level and desired
outcomes. Christy’s experience is with all individuals, often folx with goals involving their
gender/sex, self-worth/esteem, motivation, honing intuition, addiction/recovery/co-occurring,
lifestyle/well-being, rediscovering oneself, relationships, trauma, relationships and Autism.

Christy’s ideal clients are open to the therapy process and that it includes work, dedication, and priority. Christy knows her clients possess all they need to thrive and be healthy and continues to be honored to hold the map. Christy's therapeutic style is ethically casual similar to a friend that cares about you enough to not blow smoke but makes sure you have the resources you need to process what you hear and learn with compassion.

When she is not helping guide others, Christy serves as a co-chair for MARRCH Ethics Committee and board member for animal sanctuaries. She likes to volunteer, cook, golf, travel and hike and is active in the recovery community. Self-care is a top priority and includes regular meditation, journaling, yoga/pilates/walking and is a shameless self-advocate for therapists having therapists.
