Sometimes in life, we experience stressful situations which can cause our lives to unravel. I am passionate about assisting people who have been through stressful experiences. I help clients find healthy perceptions of themselves. I work with a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss issues, relationship/marriage and family concerns, crisis management, and anger management. My clients include adults (18 and older), individuals, couples, families, and groups.
I believe that trusting your therapist and having a safe, comfortable environment is paramount in the success of therapy. I focus on providing and developing a positive, comfortable therapy environment so you can feel safe in the therapy setting. I consider you the expert on your life. Only you know what it is like to be you.
I start our therapy together with developing a trusting and caring therapist/client alliance. I believe this is vital in order for you to open up about what is bringing you to therapy. I respect where you are in your life and am her to assist you in overcoming mental health issues, life stress, and any other experiences that are affecting your life in negative ways.
